An east coast girl at heart, I now live in Salt Lake City, UT with my husband Matthew + our cat, Kilby. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me rock climbing, practicing yoga, skiing, – if it fits the description of playing outside, I’m into it!
I’ve always been an observer – as a kid at the playground, I was more content to watch the other kids play before joining in; at the lunch table, more content to listen than to talk. I am a lover of the things that go unnoticed, a recognizer of the understated. My favorite animal has always been a frog, and my favorite Beatle is George Harrison. My heart is inclined toward the details that might be overlooked by others, and I believe this is where my strength lies as a photographer. I am here to preserve all the little details of your life, capturing the seen and the felt, exactly as it is.
I believe that we are all uniquely handcrafted in the image of God, and that as those who are made in the image of the Creator, we are also designed to create. It delights the Lord to reflect the beauty of the ones he has made through photography. It is my desire to create with authenticity and honesty, crafting images that are as thoughtfully designed as you are.
It is not in spite of my identity as a follower of Christ, but rather because of it, it is my mission that Colozza Creative Studios would be and always remain a safe space. This space is LGBTQ+ friendly, and I will always embrace friends of all backgrounds, gender identities, orientations, faiths, and communities. I am honored to celebrate you for you, and welcome you as you are, always.
